Mr. E's Recipe of the Day/Week

Welcome to Poor Man's Cooking! (/woman because im gender friendly)
My cuisine lately has been put off due to the excessive time I have been playing video games this last few days haha! But here's a recap of the creations I have made lately.

Chicken Parmesiana

On Friday February 13th, it was my mother's birthday and I decided to cook for her and the family in order to ease up on the economy affected wallets so-to-say. On the fly without a recipe on paper, I prepared Brown sugar Breaded Chicken Parmesiana. Served over noodles and a red sauce accompanied with Bruschetta and Garlic Bread, and a red wine paired to your liking.

Heres the recipe for the breading.
Which is supposed to be a secret, but for those of you kind enough to visit you shall have my recipe as well, which I have never written down until now.

Breading for 2-4 chicken breasts
1/3 cup of flour
1/3 cup of bread crumbs
3 Tbsp Brown sugar
1 Tsp Red pepper flake
1 Tsp 1/2 Basil, 1/2 Rosemary ( or an average italian seasoning will suffice)

Fry minced garlic, in E.v.o.o (extra virgin olive oil)
Coat Breasts with Egg (1 egg, beaten for being a red head)
Dredge in Breading and fry on medium heat, slightly enough oil to coat entire frying area. 8-10 minutes Frying time, on average 5 minutes per side, make sure to cut into the chicken, to be sure its done since the breading obsecures the easy to read color of chicken.

Add more bread crumbs for a crispier texture, finish on high heat to crisp the edges, a dark coloration is acceptible due to the brown sugar in the batter. ENJOY!

Toasted Turkey and Cheese

ah, the Art of Leftover Cuisine... 1 :45pm this morning
Garlic Bread, Toasted Deli Sliced Turkey breast, (okay i used lunch meat, this can also be replaced with tofu, or perhaps meat for the carnivores
Monterey Jack cheese shredded or sliced.
DIY: Toast bread, Fry lunch meat, top with cheese for a quick snack with enough hold to cure any amount of munchies.
If you are feeling super fancy, this can also double as a great lunch recipe. Add a red tomato sauce, and mozzarella for your own personal pizza.

So there you have it, two recipes and the first edition in cooking blogs for me. - Mr. E

Trannies.

Are Trannies women?
Lets consider all the facts. Transexuals are men/women who would prefer to be the other gender. Its merely a preference, its not some right, or some bs that they need to be that other gender, its just easier for you perhaps? life's not easy, learn to deal with it. Moving on. Although I genuinely like this person, I feel the need to discuss this openly on my blog. I dont know wether that would be offensive to said person if they were to discover this, but it is a free country and if you can go parading around my work as a girl, I am for damn sure can write in this harmless journal. So, he who shall not be named, confided in me that they didnt just like the same sex (Men), but wanted to do so as a Woman. *sigh* I know for a fact not every male who is gay wants to do so as a woman, I can only speculate if it helps in anyway for the public eye if one of them looks like a woman.. The world may never know.

The real dilemma. Lord Voldemort, ( this is what im calling her/him, cause i think its humorous) Voldemort, still has her twig and berries, she is still pre-op, she can still pee standing up. I saw her with my own eyes this morning walk into the ladies locker room at work. I was told by my manager that he/she frequents the locker room for showers etc.. Theres a lot of little red flags going up in my brain right now. Its all kinds of crazy here, and Rupaul has threatened to sue if anything doesnt go her way. Her actual words were as dictated to me by our manager - "I'll sue, I'll Sue, Two words.... Gloria Allred" There has been several other incidents that lead me to believe that the whole attitude and persona of this newly created person is a little pushy and its getting on my last nerve. The only amusing part of this whole controversy is that some of the older male members, think that this new woman yoga teacher is Fantastic! they may even have a thing for her ;) HAH. if they only knew.

The verdict? If you have a penis that makes you a man. If youre a man in womans clothing, you're a cross dresser, and if youre a man in womans clothing you should probably pee/shower at home.

The End.

Nostra Damn Us

I recently watched the History Channel special 'The Lost Book of Nostradamus' and here are my thoughts. We're totally f 'd. Half of the world is involved in what is a giant war, wether it be for land or for "religious" reasons, politcal gain etc. The other half of the world is deteriorating, eating itself alive from the by products of mankind - pollution and trash, and babies.... We're over populating this tiny place we call Earth, the natural selection of the strong and healthy is being circumvented and the weak and sickly are no longer being weeded out by mother nature. My opinion on this is pretty indifferent, I am not a judge or an executioner and by no means do I think I am capable of deciding who stays or goes, but for fucks sake there are 5 billion Chinese and Indian people, and by the time I am finished with this sentence guess what? there are more now. Huzzah.

Back on track, M. Nostradamus has predicted the arrival or incarnation of the Anti-Christ in 2012. He depicted many conflicts of religion with the symbols of the crescent moon of islam and the church. These pictures in the lost book are very ominous and riddled with symbolism it is up to every individual to interpret these themselves after doing some research. Now, in the documentary, they show the 8 spoked wheel or the true 8 point star meaning that in our future there will be an alignment of the galaxy, that happens every 13,000 and this is to be the point for change. The alignment of stars and galaxies and yadda yadda yadda. right? Well this figure would mean not a whole lot except that a few other cultures have predicted that 2012 holds great astrological importance for human kind.

Im borderline panicked, I feel we have very limited time left...

The L.A. Lifestyle

I recently took a trip back down to my home city San Diego. More specifically a hometown of Mira Mesa central to all of San Diego 15 minutes from the beach, with access to all major Freeways. Make a trip down there for yourself cause you wouldnt believe how beautiful it really is in "Sunny San Diego" the rightfully nick-named city. Its home to one of the top ten beaches in the world, you really have to check them out.

The point of today's post is, the contrast of L.A.'s fastpaced "Hollywood" lifestyle, compared to the kick back, everythings running just 5 minutes behind mood that suits San Diego so well. Los Angeles would be a cut throat city if it didnt have a certain apathy about it, everyone's just a little too busy to care whats going on. People might get a little road rage about how you drive on the freeway here in L.A. but in reality theyre probably on the phone with somebody important and they forget all about in about 5 seconds.

Ride the Pineapple Express

Out of all the movies I have planned to go see this season Dark Knight, Iron Man , Wall-E, I think Pineapple Express will undoubtedly be the most enjoyable... Why you ask? How could it possibly be more exciting and entertaining than the Dark Knight the highest grossing movie of all time! Au contrair, monfrair! Pineapple Express will be the Highest movie of all time...

Lets start with the inevitable smoking before the movie. Me and my Cannabis Comrades and Cohorts plan on getting outrageously baked beforehand, the kind of bake-age that Mrs. Fields would be proud of... I plan on going to a few cannabis clubs in Hollywood that I have been tipped has the elusive Pineapple Express' strain and when I enter a club with said strain I will then purchase a gigantic bag of these precious precious flowers.

Wait.... What if I cant get this magical plant with these specific genetics? I will then have to settle for something Pineapple flavored instead.. It will be a sad day indeed.

The plan is to get a large group of incredibly stoned people to become a loose unorganized mob, and when we stand reeking of marijuana, united together infront of the movie theatres we and our snacks and our secondary snacks will try to brave the sober world and make our way to the theatre. The long trek to which theatre we're in shall be perilous and I'm positive we will all make a scene and look pretty conspicuous with our sunglasses on in the dark theatre, but hey this movie was made for us, by us... in a roundabout kind of way

Upon completion of this difficult mission I shall return, to inscribe a deeply felt review...
maybe while still medicated... :)
I'll leave you with one last question... How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop? The world may never know....

Ps. AMC Theatres Burbank 16 allows food to be brought in. They have a chipotle and a Cold Stone'd (haha) next door.

Wall-E

"After 700 years of doing what he was built for, he'll discover what he was meant for."

Pixar has taken animated movies to a gallactic level. The movie was a juggernaut of story, astounding visuals and effects. The only disappointment I had felt was how come I had'nt seen this movie sooner! My heart hasnt had an emotional ride like this in a while, I laughed some good laughs and even teared up a little at the end.

Without spoiling the movie ill sum it up in once sentence.
A lonely solitary robot with one directive, falls in love and does so many things he's never done before.

Pixar is 8 out 8 for their hits, Finding Nemo was pretty gripping, Toy Story was an instant classic, Incredibles is still one of my favorites of all time. Their box office numbers are fantastic and I have a few of their DVD's in my collection. Pixar should be around for awhile, it might even change to Pixar and Disney instead of Vice Versa.

News isn't really new, but Repition from the Media

There is no such thing as Illegal Graffiti. Freedom of expression is our right dictated by the first amendment. Expression through colored media via a spray of paint.

News Media today displayed a story on the increasing Graffit problem. Los Angeles is covered with it, and the tax dollars are being pumped into fighting for the cause. What is the cause? A pristine city with not a single mark on it, the countless criminal artists in jail or maybe prison for exaggerated coloring on the walls. The News has better things to report, people should have more important things to care about.

The wonderful state of california spends countless tax dollars on the cleaning of graffiti. They spend even more tax dollars to the law enforcement officers to track down and investigate "notorious" taggers in internet chatrooms, youtube, and myspace. Am i the only one that thinks thats a huge waste of our tax dollars? I feel like im taking crazy pills. Here's a bright idea. Legalize the shit. With Tagging on certain walls and areas legal, the true artists behind some of the beautiful array of bombs, tags, and burners would be free to display their work.
The dangerous aspects of tagging are directly related to the illegality of the act. Why would you feel the need to tag an overpass if the wall down the street is huge and legal to spray on.

If and when we come to terms with a legalization like in such countries such as Germany, we might still have some artists in this country with talent.
Fun Fact: Anti-Bush graffiti has been found in 25 different countries.

Graffiti has long been around and won't be stopped in the near future.
